ESI’s PUCA annual conference was recently held in Japan and Pacific ESI were represented by our managing director Damian McGuckin. Damian presented a joint paper on a collaborative research effort with Dr Gui Wang from the University of Queensland titled: “Improving the Microstructure of a Casting Using an External Field”. Specifically, this paper talked about the implementation of ultrasonics in casting with specific simulation methods in ProCAST.
